Shintaro Fujinami is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher who has played for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB) since 2023. He played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hanshin Tigers from 2013 to 2022.

Fujinami made his NPB debut in 2013. He quickly established himself as one of the top pitchers in the league. He was named to the NPB All-Star team in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He won the Sawamura Award, given to the best pitcher in NPB 2015.

Fujinami is a right-handed pitcher with a fastball that can reach 95 miles per hour. He also has a slider, curveball, and changeup. He is a strikeout pitcher and has struck out over 1,000 batters.
