Its white shell, twin black center stripes, and flip-up bubble visor give it a classic profile. The factory "Night Sluggers" graphics make it distinctive: a skeleton batter swings a bone over a red baseball diamond on both sides.

The PLAY BONES2 resulted from a collaboration between the Japanese motorcycle gear brand RIDEZ and the Yokohama apparel label Knuckle Head. The series brought graphics from American-inspired Japanese casualwear to retro motorcycle helmets. This example's interior label dates it to August 2015 (Heisei 27) and lists Rise International, now RIDEZ, as its Japanese importer. The dated label and cataloged factory graphics make it a distinctive display piece for café racer and Japanese motorcycle memorabilia collections.

Product details

Brand and series: RIDEZ × Knuckle Head PLAY BONES2

Type: Open-face (jet) motorcycle helmet

Shell model: KH-JB

Manufacture date: August 2015 (Heisei 27)

Tagged size: 57 cm to under 60 cm

Finish: White with twin black stripes and multicolor "Night Sluggers" graphics

Features: Flip-up bubble visor, black mesh padding with red stitching, and quick-release chinstrap buckle

Market and manufacture: Japanese-market model, made in China

Markings: Japanese PSC and SG labels present

Condition and use: Pre-owned, with visible surface marks on the visor and shell.
