Honda Racing has a long and storied history in Formula One. The Japanese automaker first entered the sport in 1964, and they have since won 10 Drivers' Championships and 6 Constructors' Championships.

One of the most famous drivers to race for Honda was Ayrton Senna. The Brazilian driver won three Driver's Championships with Honda in 1988, 1990, and 1991. Senna was known for his aggressive driving style and ability to push his car to the very limits.

In 1990, Senna began using a Rheos helmet. Rheos was a helmet manufacturer that was founded in Japan in 1988. Senna's Rheos helmet was made of carbon fiber and featured a distinctive green interior.

Senna wore the Rheos helmet for two seasons, 1990 and 1991. He won both Driver's Championships during those two seasons, and the Rheos helmet became one of the most iconic helmets in Formula One history.
