Vintage Showa 1970s JDM Japan Porsche Autobahn Mechanic Tsunagi Coveralls

This is a rare vintage Showa Era Porsche Autobahn mechanic jumpsuit imported straight from Japan. This one-piece suit is not easily obtainable in the United States. Despite some minor markings, the retro suit remains in good used condition.

During the Showa era (1926–1989), Porsche emerged as a symbol of prestige and performance in Japan. The brand first entered the country in the 1950s through private importers and collectors. In 1961, Mitsuwa Motors became the official distributor, making Porsche more accessible to Japanese enthusiasts. By the 1970s, the Porsche 911 had developed a strong following due to its unique rear-engine design and air-cooled performance, which appealed to driving purists.
