1998
Where It All Began
Sugoi JDM began as a passion project among a group of high school friends who lived and breathed the JDM culture—performance racing, authentic gear, and everything that made Japanese automotive style so unique.
2003
From Passion To The Pro Circuit
What started as a simple idea to import genuine parts straight from Japan quickly grew into something bigger. With time and dedication, we turned that passion into a small shop where we didn’t just sell parts—we built race cars, and helped customers bring their own visions to life.
2009
Top Performance Shop
We weren’t just bolting on parts—we were dialing in every detail, chasing that perfect balance of performance and soul. The cars we built weren’t just fast—they had feeling. That reputation took us places we only dreamed of: all the way to the starting lines of D1GP and Formula Drift. We were right there, rubbing shoulders with the best, representing the culture we grew up on.
2016
End Of An Era
As the golden era of JDM tuning started to fade, the scene began to shift. Tracks closed, regulations tightened, and the energy that once filled garages and late-night runs started to feel different. The culture we loved was still there, but it was evolving. So were we, and we pivoted into new creative ventures.
