A great retro professional Japanese baseball jersey. This jersey is in excellent condition and is a great collection piece.
Ryota Arai is a former Japanese professional baseball infielder and current coach for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. He played with the Chunichi Dragons from 2006 to 2010 and the Tigers from 2011 to 2017.
The Hanshin Tigers baseball team is one of the most iconic and beloved teams in Japanese baseball. With a rich history and passionate fan base, the Tigers have become synonymous with the city of Osaka and hold a special place in the hearts of baseball enthusiasts.
Known for their distinctive black and gold uniforms, the Hanshin Tigers have a storied legacy dating back to their founding in 1935. The team has had its ups and downs over the years but has consistently showcased a strong roster of talented players and a never-give-up attitude.
Several notable Japanese players from the Hanshin Tigers, such as Shintaro Fujinami, Kenji Johjima, Tsuyoshi Shinjo, Keichi Yabu, Kei Igawa, and Kyuji Fujikawa, have successfully transitioned to the Major League Baseball (MLB), leaving an indelible mark on both leagues.
