The Black Summer Weekend series was created to give Marines home games a distinct summer-night identity, combining baseball with stadium entertainment, limited merch, event styling, and a darker seasonal uniform concept.

This 2022 version features the campaign’s black base with light purple branding, designed to stand out under night-game lighting while still tying back to the Marines’ team identity. The front displays large outlined MARINES lettering across the chest, a button-up baseball jersey construction, and the GungHo sponsor patch. Sleeve details include LOTTE branding, thin purple and white cuff striping, and the circular Marines Chiba Lotte gull logo.

The jersey was part of the Black Summer Weekend, supported by Coolish, with official event games held during summer 2022. The design connects to the campaign concept of creating a more exciting summer ballpark atmosphere, using black as the dominant color with light purple accents for a sharper, nightlife-inspired look.
