The Suzuki レッツ5 Injection (Let's 5 Injection) was a 50cc scooter introduced in Japan, notable for its adoption of fuel injection technology. Equipped with a 4-stroke, air-cooled engine featuring Suzuki's fuel injection system, the Let's 5 offered improved fuel efficiency and compliance with the 2006 domestic motorcycle emission regulations. This model provided a reliable and eco-friendly option for urban commuters.
In December 2015, Suzuki launched a service campaign for the Let's 5 and similar models to address potential engine issues caused by carbon buildup during short trips without sufficient engine warm-up. The campaign included adding a fan cowling cover, using engine cleaning agents, and replacing the V-belt with a more heat-resistant version. These measures aimed to improve the scooter's reliability and longevity.
